The approach

Work habits are the superpowers.

These matches are creative interpretations grounded in public Metal work conversations, primarily July–October 2026, and current profile checks. Each entry separates observed moments from the interpretation. This is a first-season cast selected for strong available evidence, not a complete team roster or a claim to know anyone's whole personality.

About the artwork

The illustrations use original masked Metal hero designs. The Marvel and DC assignments remain here beside every image. These are symbolic work personas, not employee likenesses. All cover captions are invented comic lines, not quotations.

ISSUE 04 · THE TOOLMAKER

Taha Sardar

No tool for that? Give me a minute.

ISSUE 05 · THE EDGE-CASE ARCHITECT

Salar Khan

MARVELMister Fantastic
DCMister Terrific

Looks for the causal mechanism and the failure path, then protects the team's focus. The questioning is concrete and helpful: explicit sequences, limits and tradeoffs instead of vague doubt.

Works once. What happens on click four?
Why these matches? +

Mister Fantastic: Reed Richards fits systems reasoning and curiosity about how an apparently working invention really behaves.

Mister Terrific: Michael Holt's problem-solving intellect and diagnostic technology fit precise interrogation of a system.

Observed moments

  1. Oct 8, 2026 ↗

Tested a proposed UI approach with a four-click sequence and mixed API failures to ask whether state could diverge.

  2. Oct 7, 2026 ↗

Offered to absorb data-pipeline work to avoid a teammate's context switch, while insisting ad hoc work be prioritized.

  3. Aug 25, 2026 ↗

Explained backfill progress and why API rate limits imposed a real time constraint.

ISSUE 06 · THE RELEASE ACROBAT

Laraib Zafar

MARVELSpider-Man
DCNightwing

Ship the solid part. Fix the rest.
Why these matches? +

Nightwing: Nightwing fits skilled execution, balance and keeping forward momentum without losing control.

Observed moments
